It seemed as if Urki could talk all night about his adventures with Enki. The two of them had apparently been involved in myriad dustups, contretemps, and imbroglios and Urki seemed to delight in relating every detail of each one. Jerrod didn't notice the suppressed laughter suffusing the countenance of the other member of the trio, nor did he notice the twinkle in the storyteller's eyes.
After what appeared to be several hours, Enki finally intervened. "Urki, enough. Stop teasing Jerrod. Tell him about our first meeting with Astall so he will understand more about why Astall would entrust us with the task of bringing him to Pond Eddy."
"Alright, alright. She always was something of a spoilsport, you know, Jerrod. But I suppose she's right. I'll tell you the tale which you were angling for, the tale of the Arachnid queen."
